GT-SUITE 7.4

Gamma Technologies announces a new release of GT-SUITE 7.4 software of the multi-physics platform, wich includes new features based on customer requests.

The GT-SUITE software from Gamma Technologies offers a multi-physics platform for developing complete vehicle models for energy management studies, basic controls and calibration development, drive cycle analysis and powertrain architecture synthesis. GT-SUITE offers a comprehensive set of EV and HEV modeling elements such as lithium-ion battery, electric machines, A/C circuitry and controls, which can be integrated with market-leading models of engine, vehicle and powertrain dynamics, thermal management and detailed aftertreatment in a single comprehensive model ideally suitable for system-level optimization.

The latest version 7.4 includes many new features developed based on customer requests, for example in the area of transmission modeling (manual transmissions), engine modeling (new torque-based control scheme) and control (new options in building arbitrary control logic, “wire-less” signal transmission, high-level ECU compounds, enhanced tuning parameter options for the PID controller, etc.). To aid model building, the software contains many pre-assembled examples, including a detailed through-the-road diesel hybrid model that integrates EngineState, three cooling loops, AT system, vehicle and advanced controls.

About Gamma Technologies Inc.

Gamma develops and licenses GT-SUITE - an integrated suite of CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) software tools. GT-SUITE, which incorporates GT-POWER, is the first true “virtual engine / powertrain / vehicle” simulation tool. The product makes it possible for engineering professionals to model engine performance, vehicle dynamics, valvetrain dynamics, cooling systems, fuel injection systems, and cranktrain dynamics. With over 260 customers worldwide, Gamma is the faraway leader in its field. Its products are used by nearly all leading engine and vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers worldwide, among them General Motors, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Renault, PSA, Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Hyundai, to name just a few.

We are dedicated to building the most advanced vehicle system simulation tools. Furthermore, we endeavor to provide major productivity improvements for our customers through carefully designed software solutions.
